With 21 years of experience in education, and five successful years leading Abbotts High School Johannesburg South, I bring a deep commitment to cultivating schools defined by strong academic systems, purposeful leadership, and positive culture. My philosophy is clear: when expectations are high, guidance is expert, and every student is known… excellence becomes attainable.

Abbotts High School Bordeaux will offer a comprehensive and purpose-built educational environment designed to support academic students and their wider development. Our classrooms are modern, well-equipped, and structured to provide focused teaching across all subjects within the Independent Examinations Board (IEB) curriculum, including languages, mathematics, sciences, and the humanities, supported by age-appropriate learning resources and digital tools.

To enhance the core curriculum, students will have access to specialist learning spaces that support hands-on and experiential learning. These include dedicated science laboratories for practical investigation, a STEAM laboratory and computer resources to support EdTech and digital literacy, and library/resource areas that promote research and independent study.

We recognise the importance of nurturing creativity and self-expression. Our facilities will support cultural and artistic pursuits, including spaces for art, drama, and performance, accompanied by regular exhibitions, cultural evenings, and theatre activities that bring student creativity to the fore.

Abbotts Bordeaux also offers a rich co-curricular and extra-curricular programme that extends learning beyond the classroom. Students will be able to participate in field trips and educational excursions that deepen understanding of curriculum topics, structured social activities such as matric dances and awards evenings that build community and leadership.
