Abbotts High School is pleased to offer a limited number of scholarships to prospective students entering Grade 8 in 2027.
At Abbotts High School, we believe that academic excellence extends beyond outstanding marks. It is reflected in curiosity, determination, resilience, integrity and a genuine passion for learning. Our Academic Scholarship Programme has been developed to recognise and reward students who consistently demonstrate these qualities and who have the potential to make a meaningful contribution to the academic life of our school.
The Academic Scholarship Programme recognises exceptional students who consistently demonstrate academic excellence, intellectual curiosity, and the potential to thrive within the Abbotts High School learning environment.
Scholarships are awarded following a competitive selection process and are intended to encourage students who are committed to achieving their personal best while contributing positively to the life of the school.
The number and value of scholarships awarded each year will depend on the quality of applications received and the recommendations of the Academic Scholarship Selection Committee.
* Submission of an application does not guarantee that a scholarship will be awarded.
* All scholarship decisions are made in accordance with the Abbotts High School Academic Scholarship Programme Policy.
* The Principal's decision regarding the awarding of scholarships is final.

Co-Curricular
Activities
Our extra-mural programme is designed to bring the classroom to life. Field trips are arranged regularly and students are offered the opportunity to experience national or international tours.
Traditional student activities are also catered for. Every year we have inter-campus sports days, cultural evenings, a matric dance, awards evenings and the Grade 12 Graduation.

The relationship between the high school and the students is guided by the Code of Conduct, which all students are required to sign.
