WE ARE READY
During this time of uncertainty, the one thing that Abbotts parents and students should not be worried about is schooling. Our digital learning experience is in place, and our amazing teachers have developed exciting and engaging content that was rolled out in April, 2020. Our promise of guaranteed academic improvement remains steadfast, and is underpinned by the following unique features:
· Mentoring – Regular one-on-one sessions between mentor teachers and students.
· Supervised homework (on a virtual platform).
· Small classes – Classes remain at a maximum size of 25 students per class, ensuring individual attention when needed.
· 7 Reports –We will continue to provide you with frequent feedback in terms of the progress your child is making at Abbotts.
· Access to teachers after normal school hours - Our teachers are accessible to students after “school hours” allowing for students to contact them via phone for assistance until 8pm at night.
· Subject Specific Clinics – We will continue to provide subject specific clinics.
· Revision - Revision is simplified as students will be able view lessons recordings after the live lessons, at the student’s convenience.
Our virtual learning experience is an excellent solution to address the immediate inconveniences presented to us all in teaching and learning. The creation of this platform as well as the development of quality content to populate curriculum, also presents a wonderful opportunity for better integration of “virtual” and “real life” learning. We look forward to leveraging the best of both worlds, in the interest of our students in the future.
